No matter how healthy you feel today, nobody knows what lies round the corner tomorrow. Nobody is immune from unemployment or illness, and we strongly recommend you consider protecting your payments.

As medical examinations are not required, applying for this insurance couldn't be easier. If you are aged between 18-60 you will automatically be accepted. Most of the policies also include Free Life Insurance which makes the overall package very attractive. (terms and conditions vary between banks, so make sure you check them).
If you are self-employed, obviously the redundancy cover will not apply to you. However, most of the banks we deal with offer valuable alternatives such as: additional hospitalisation cover. This is where the bank will pay your monthly repayment for you and will also send you the same amount in cash while you are in hospital.
All of the policies provide the option to insure both applicants (where applicable) for all benefits, so bear this in mind if both of you have an income.
